Two Comet will soon fly close to the earth know the date | Comet SWAN Could soon bright a sky near you
Two very beautiful comets are moving near the earth which you can see with the naked eye. NASA says it will be a beautiful comet than others seen in the past decade. Two comets are coming one is Comet SWAN and another is Comet Atlas.
This is comet SWAN. Astronomers did not observe this like a comet in past 10 years which has a long tail with bright green color like this . This all images are posted from NASA .In today the peoples are so enthusiastic that they opened a Tweeter handle in the name of comet SWAN.Peoples are following this religiously on social media.
What is comet?
Comet is a asteroid like thing which is made up with rock solid ice or some asteroid particles like metals ,minerals etc.It looks like a big glowing ball with an added tail .This is the basic definition of COMET.Mostly the comets are icy and when they come near to a star it heats up and release vapor,gases behind it and which looks like its tail floating in the space .This process called out gassing.
A comet may be seen from Earth without the aid of a telescope and may subtend an arc of 30° (60 Moons) across the sky. Comets have been observed and recorded since ancient times by many cultures.
ex- great comet of 1996 Hyakutake is another well known comet to pass earth for about every 200 years.
Does they harm earth ?
Since most comets are made of hard ice, if they are 100m-1000m in size, it will not harm the Earth in a big scale. .But if they are as big as 10 kilometers, then it is harmful for the earth.

2. Its size roughly 100m to 10000m.
3. Comet SWAN is green in color .Its very rare about 1 in a hundred year .
4. A comet’s dust tail is a trail of dust and rocky material that is left behind as it moves along its orbit path.
Comet SWAN and Comet Atlas will be flying closest to the surface of the earth on May 13 and may 23,2020. It's predicted that India can't be able to watch the comet SWAN at the night sky on the 13th of may but 23rd may the comet ATLAS can be seen from INDIA at the night sky.

Comet ATLAS is breaking down day by day.recently Hubble telescope posted a video on tweeter that shows how the Comet Atlas breaking down in parts . They are predicting that its braked into 30 pieces almost.It will low pass the earth at that broken situation .

They mostly come from out from the solar system .As of now scientist believed to have two sources .Long period comets (those which take more than 200 years to complete an orbit around the sun)Originate from the Oort cloud.
